One of the pleasures of visiting a new place is to sample its food. There are many places in Luxor offering high quality food and most of them are outside of the main hotel complexes, which is all the more reason for you to explore. There are equally as many good places to stay on both sides of the River Nile. Hotels and Bed and Breakfast establishments are available to suit all budgets.

We have listed a few places that you might like to stay in or visit for your lunch-time snack, your evening meal or just to while away a few hours drinking coffee. Most of them are shown on our Street Map but the speed of change in Luxor means that some of them may have been omitted.
